Ladybird Readers 2 Topsy and Tim: the Big Race

It is sports day at school. Topsy and Tim want to come first in all the races. But they do not come first and they are not happy. Ladybird Readers is a series of traditional tales, modern stories, and nonfiction, written for young learners of English as a foreign language.

Each book includes language activities to support the CEF framework, as well as help young learners prepare for the Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) exams. This Level 2 title is ideal for children who have received some reading instruction and can read short, simple sentences. It covers CEF level A1 and supports YLE movers exams.
